Hi everybody - it's been a while since I posted on here, but there hasn't been a whole lot to tell outside of just going to class and doing the work that goes along with it (which is not really that much). I had a few short papers and a test this week, and that was the first time I've done anything really difficult as far as schoolwork goes since I got here.
These are some pictures from my trip to Uruguay during the time we had off during the week before Easter - Kent Ford, another guy from Ole Miss, and Katie Tomai, who's from Vermont and is studying in Córdoba with us, went and met up with two other girls from Ole Miss, Amy Goodwin and Cat Couper, who are studying in Montevideo, Uruguay, and from there we went almost to the Brazilian border and stopped at various beaches on the way back to Montevideo. In order, we went to Montevideo, Punta del Diablo, La Paloma, Rocha, Pan de Azucar, Piriápolis, Montevideo, and back to Córdoba. It was a fun group of folks, and we had great weather and ate a lot of good seafood everywhere we went. From top to bottom: Kent and Cat eating from a bucket of steamed mussels in Piriápolis; afternoon close to the center of town in Rocha; the three girls (l to r - Cat, Katie, and Amy) in Punta del Diablo; sunset over Punta del Diablo; and myself in the surf in Punta del Diablo.
Until next time everybody - hope all of you are doing great. Miss y'all.
